Olympics lapbook
Well, Colin finished his first lapbook today. We will continue to study and watch the Olympics, but I think we have a satisfactory number of things in the lapbook already. I don’t really know much to say about it, so I’ll just post some pictures. If you click on a picture, you should be able to see the whole thing instead of just the thumbnail.
- If you lift each colored flap, then the matchbook, you will see a description of the different sports.
- We added an extra "fold-down" page with torch and flame information.
- I purchased a pdf unit study, but Colin didn't want to use their cover, so we tweaked it a little. I still give them credit, though.
- When you first open the lapbook, this is what you see.
- I opened up some of the books so you could see what was inside them.
- We made a pocket to store some of our worksheets in. You can also see the flipped down "torch facts" page and a fan book on the far right.

Love the lapbook. It looks like it will be something you can be proud of for a long time and the boys can look at over & over again. That seems to be a good way for them to keep the info. in front of them and keep reminding themselves of what they learned. We will have to try one soon…
